Christian Moore hit the first home run of his season in the second inning, a 99.1-mph fastball driven to left center. The Angels scored five in the first two innings and did not score again after the fifth — Gavin Williams got four outs for Cleveland, 62 pitches for five earned runs, and the bullpen held the line from there. José Ramírez doubled home two in the fourth to begin the climb, and Erik Sabrowski struck out the side in the eighth on 13 pitches. Cade Smith struck out two in the tenth to end it on 15 pitches.
