Three lead changes in three innings, and then Tim Tawa's three-run homer to left-center in the third settled it — Arizona scored five in the inning and the Giants never got closer than three. Christian Koss hit his first home run of the season in the fourth, a two-run homer to left, and the wait for a first homer ends the moment the ball clears the fence. Blade Tidwell gave up six in five and took the loss, and once Arizona's bullpen took over, the Giants scored once in five innings.
