One hit — that was all Houston managed against Sean Burke over five and two-thirds, and the Astros did not score until the eighth. Burke struck out six and walked four on a hundred and four pitches, and Colson Montgomery's two-run double in the fifth — his twenty-second — broke a scoreless tie. Randal Grichuk doubled home two more in the seventh off Tatsuya Imai, and Ronel Blanco's four scoreless for Houston went to waste. Isaac Paredes homered in the eighth for Houston's only run, his eighteenth, against Jordan Hicks.
