Four lead changes in nine innings, and the last two stayed in Cincinnati. Tyler Stephenson's homer in the sixth — his fifteenth — gave the Reds their first lead since the first, and Matt McLain matched him with his fifteenth an inning later to make it hold. Aaron Ashby took the loss in a single inning of three hits, and Milwaukee left nine on base across the night. Elly De La Cruz's homer in the first left the bat at 112.1 mph and landed 438 feet from home, and it was the only run Cincinnati scored until the sixth.
