The lead changed hands three times in three innings, and then Anthony Molina stopped giving it back — five innings, one hit, no earned runs. Rafael Devers homered twice, his thirty-fourth and thirty-fifth, and Christian Koss matched him with his second and third of the year. Zac Thornton took the loss with six earned in five innings, and the Giants left one runner on base the entire night. Nine runs on ten hits, and they barely needed half of them.
