Mickey Moniak's three-run homer in the 3rd was the loudest part of Colorado's early lead. Then Cooper Hjerpe entered and threw four innings without a hit — six strikeouts, zero walks, 54 pitches. St. Louis scored five in the 5th to take the lead, and Iván Herrera's two-run double in the 8th gave them room. Nick Frasso gave up three earned in two-thirds of an inning for Colorado.
