Ten hits and two runs is the line that explains Colorado's night. Framber Valdez gave up six of those hits over six innings and allowed no earned runs, and the Rockies left nine on base. Riley Greene tripled for the second time this season in the sixth — 111.4 mph off the bat, 420 feet — and scored on Dillon Dingler's 27th home run. Max Clark's third home run of the year had opened the scoring in the fifth. Mark Manfredi and Nick Frasso followed Mason Adams and allowed four runs between them without finishing the sixth.
