The Twins had the lead in the sixth after Emmanuel Rodriguez's first triple of the season plated two, and then the eighth happened. Andrew Morris got one out and gave up three hits and three runs; A.J. Minter got none and gave up three more of each. Aaron Judge's three-run homer was the swing that finished it. New York made three errors and still won by five.
