Matt Olson's forty-first home run tied it in the sixth, and Austin Riley's eighteenth put Atlanta ahead in the seventh — but Will Banfield's sacrifice fly in the same inning tied it again, and the game went to ten. That is where Mauricio Dubón ended it: a ground ball back to the pitcher, Luis Mey, who couldn't make a play, and DaShawn Keirsey Jr. scored from third. Andrew Abbott went seven for Cincinnati — six strikeouts, two earned — and left with the game tied. Chris Sale struck out ten over five and two-thirds and also got no decision. Juan Brito's third home run had given Cincinnati the lead in the first. Five innings of scoreless Atlanta relief set up the tenth. Mey took the loss without giving up an earned run.
