Jack Leiter struck out eight across six innings and allowed two runs. Gunnar Henderson accounted for both — a first-inning home run off a 97.3 mph sinker and a fifth-inning single. Chris Bassitt threw 100 pitches for 13 outs, walking four, and Texas built its lead by the second. Jake Burger's 110.2 mph double was the hardest contact of the night, and his two RBI came earlier on a fielder's choice and a line-drive single. Tyler Alexander needed ten pitches for the save. Henderson's homer was his first of the season.
