Shane McClanahan walked three in 4.2 innings and the Brewers made him pay in the fifth, when Brice Turang's overturned tag play turned a single into a rally that scored three. Gary Sánchez added a 107 mph home run in the sixth, and by the time Brandon Woodruff handed off after five innings the Rays were looking at a four-run hole. Tampa Bay left seven on base and scored once after the first inning.
