Six hits and two walks turned into six earned runs in the second inning, and Chris Bassitt was done after 62 pitches. Ryan O'Hearn had already homered in the first — a two-run shot on a 3-0 fastball — and his two-run double in the second made it 6-0. Oneil Cruz added a two-run homer in the sixth, his fourth of the year, and by then the only question was the margin. Braxton Ashcraft went six innings for Pittsburgh, allowed one run on four hits, and struck out eight on 87 pitches. Cade Povich cleaned up the last 5.2 innings for Baltimore and still gave up two. The Orioles had eight hits and scored twice, and they were never within four runs after the second.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed.
