Roki Sasaki allowed six earned runs in five innings, and the Dodgers won anyway. James Wood's three-run homer in the fourth — 107.6 mph off an 0-2 forkball to center — put Washington ahead 6-1, and Sasaki left after 90 pitches. Dalton Rushing's first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the sixth, cut it to 6-3. Then Cionel Pérez came in for the eighth, faced six hitters, and recorded no outs. Santiago Espinal's two-run single started the rally. Kyle Tucker's forceout brought in one more, and Shohei Ohtani's sacrifice fly off Clayton Beeter added the last. The Dodgers scored five in the eighth without a home run. Ohtani's 438-foot shot in the third — 114.6 mph off the bat — had opened the scoring five innings earlier.
