Aaron Nola gave Devers a 94.1 mph fastball at 0-0 in the sixth, and Devers put it 411 feet to center field with two men on. That was the ballgame, though the Phillies' own futility made it academic — nine left on base, four hits, no runs across six innings of chances. Mahle walked four in 5.2 innings and still never allowed a run, which tells you what the Phillies were doing with the pitches they swung at. Devers added a sharp single in the eighth to score Arraez, because one swing had not been enough.
