Colson Montgomery doubled in two in the first, hit his sixth home run in the second, and the White Sox led from the opening inning on. Munetaka Murakami's ninth home run left the bat at 113.0 mph and traveled 426 feet. Miguel Vargas followed with his fourth, and Sean Burke gave up two earned in six innings for the win. Merrill Kelly threw 101 pitches in four and a third, allowed ten hits and eight earned, and took the loss. Sam Antonacci tripled for the first time this season in the first inning, and Chicago had six runs before Arizona had one.
