The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Chicago led, lost it in the 2nd, took it back in the 3rd, and never let Philadelphia close enough to matter. Taijuan Walker gave up five runs in four innings — eight hits, one of them Michael Busch's first home run of the year, a fly ball to left-center. Seiya Suzuki's two-run shot in the 5th pushed it to 6-2, and Pete Crow-Armstrong tacked on another in the 8th. Matthew Boyd gave the Phillies two in 4.2 innings. Ben Brown took the next 2.1 — five strikeouts, no walks, three hits, nothing across. Philadelphia left seven on and committed an error. Edmundo Sosa's second-inning double, 111.6 mph off the bat, gave the Phillies their only lead. It lasted one half-inning.
