Judge turned on a 3-2 curveball from Leiter — 113 mph off the bat — two batters after Rice's two-run shot had already given New York the lead. Leiter lasted six and gave up four runs, all on three home runs, which is the line of a man who kept competing after the inning that beat him. Fried struck out five, walked two, and the run Texas managed in the ninth was unearned.
