Adley Rutschman singled twice and both times Gunnar Henderson scored — once in the 1st, once in the 7th. Samuel Basallo's 2nd double of the year, a 111.4 mph line drive, followed the first one and made it 2-0. Houston collected 11 hits and left 10 on base. Brice Matthews' 2nd homer got the Astros within a run in the 5th before Pete Alonso's 4th, a 2-run shot, answered in the same inning. Kai-Wei Teng lasted 3 innings and gave up the first two.
