Cole Young had two at-bats that mattered. He doubled in the seventh to tie it at 2, then singled in the ninth with two on to give Seattle the lead for good. Both times he hit the ball to center fielder Byron Buxton — the double came on a 98 mph fastball. Taj Bradley threw 114 pitches over seven innings for Minnesota, left with the game tied, and got nothing for it. Eric Orze faced four batters in the ninth. Two hits, two walks, and the loss.
