Nolan Gorman hit a 3-2 fastball out to right in the first inning, two runs in before the Dodgers had settled in. By the time Emmet Sheehan left after 4.2 innings, he had given up eight hits and four earned runs, struck out eight, and the Cardinals had the game. Jordan Walker's double in the seventh scored two more — the throw from left got away and let him take third. Matthew Liberatore went 5.2 innings, two runs, and the St. Louis bullpen did not falter. The Dodgers committed two errors and left eight on base. Alec Burleson added a home run in the third. Max Muncy doubled in a run for Los Angeles in the second; it was their only scoring until the sixth.

⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
