Rhett Lowder recorded four outs. He threw 52 pitches, allowed five hits and eight earned runs, and was gone before the second inning ended. Connor Phillips replaced him and walked four batters without retiring anyone — 21 pitches, five strikes, two runs scored. By the time the second inning was over, Pittsburgh had 10 runs and the game was finished in everything but the count. Konnor Griffin's RBI double in the first, a 106.0 mph line drive to left, was one of the early blows. Carmen Mlodzinski gave up five runs in 5.2 innings and still got the win. Brock Burke came out of the Cincinnati bullpen and gave up five earned on six hits in one inning. Pittsburgh had 19 hits and 17 runs, and the Reds used six pitchers to get through nine.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
