Trent Grisham's three-run double in the sixth was the swing that separated this game — a 95.6 mph sinker lined to left that cleared the bases and put New York ahead for good. Three more run-scoring singles followed in the same inning: Escarra, Judge, Bellinger, in order. MacKenzie Gore had given Texas a lead through five and then came apart, charged with five earned over 5.1. Duran's solo homer in the third — his second of the year, on a 91.6 mph fastball — was the only swing that went Texas's way. The Rangers left ten on base.
