Zach Dezenzo's first of the year gave Houston a lead in the second. Yordan Alvarez made it larger in the sixth with a ball that left at 115.9 mph and traveled 407 feet to right center — the hardest contact of the night. Mike Burrows gave Cincinnati three hits over seven scoreless innings, and the Astros added six more runs across the eighth and ninth, including Zach Cole's three-run shot. Nick Lodolo took the loss at 5.1 innings and four earned.
