Strider gave up one hit in six innings and struck out eight on 91 pitches. Blake Snell lasted three innings, allowed six hits and five runs — four earned — and left trailing after Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson each delivered two-run singles in the second. Atlanta added runs in the fifth and eighth, and the Dodgers' only runs came on Andy Pages's ninth-inning homer off Reynaldo López. Snell threw 77 pitches to get nine outs, and six of Atlanta's twelve hits came off him.
