Houston's lineup went in order five times in six innings against Andrew Abbott, who threw 85 pitches, gave up three hits, and never let a runner reach second. The Reds scored three in the fourth when JJ Bleday's first triple of the year rolled to the wall in right — two runs came home on a ball that traveled 76 feet off the bat at 105.3 mph. Spencer Steer hit a 94.8 mph sinker out to left in the sixth, and Kai-Wei Teng took the loss with three earned in three innings. The Astros finished with three hits and three left on base in a game they were never in.
