Eric Haase had not homered this season when he stepped in against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the third. He homered then — a 93.0 mph cutter sent to left center — and homered again off Yamamoto in the fifth, to the same part of the park. Harrison Bader went back-to-back with him in that inning on a 90.8 mph splitter. Yamamoto struck out eight, walked nobody, and gave up five earned in 6.1 innings. Adrian Houser went 5.2 for San Francisco, allowed two runs, and Caleb Kilian recorded the last four outs. The Dodgers had four hits.
