The Yankees had one hit. Kyle Bradish threw 100 pitches over six innings, allowed that one hit, walked three, and struck out seven. Max Fried — 61 pitches, three earned runs in three innings — was gone before the game was a third of the way old, and Paul Blackburn gave up three more. New York put four runners on base all night and made two errors. Adley Rutschman homered in the fifth and hit a sacrifice fly in the third, and Pete Alonso drove in a run on a 75.1 mph curveball. Baltimore did not need much.
