Colorado scored twice in the first — RBI singles from Rumfield and Moniak — and added a third in the second on Jake McCarthy's line drive to left. Sugano allowed two earned across five innings. Corbin Carroll's double in the fifth scored Marte to make it 3-2, but Moniak was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the eighth, scoring Doyle. Eduardo Rodriguez allowed nine hits in 5.1 innings and lost. Arizona left ten on base and scored twice on nine hits.
