Joe Ryan struck out nine over six innings, walked nobody, and the only run he allowed came on Victor Caratini's second homer of the year in the second. The game was still 1-1 when Kreidler hit a 94.0 mph fastball out to left center with two on in the fourth. Houston had five hits and left four on base, and Yoendrys Gómez and Andrew Morris struck out six over the last three innings without allowing a run.
