The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. King threw 81 pitches and recorded eleven outs. He gave up four earned on five hits and four walks, and by the time he left, the Athletics led 4-0. Cortes started it with his fifth homer in the first on an 0-2 changeup at 86.9. Bolte doubled in Gelof in the second on a 1-2 sweeper — his second of the year — and Williams singled him home. Luis Medina started, faced six hitters, and Jacob Lopez covered the next 4.2 innings, giving up one run on six hits. France added his fifth in the seventh. Soderstrom's RBI single in the ninth was insurance the Athletics didn't need. The Padres put nine hits on the board and scored twice. King has now failed to finish the fourth inning in two of his last three starts, and the Padres are 0-3 in those games.
