The seventh inning contained two home runs, a triple, a sacrifice bunt, and seven Tampa Bay runs. Yandy Díaz opened it with his second home run of the night — two runs, his tenth of the year — and by the time Nick Fortes laid down a sacrifice bunt to score the seventh, the Angels' bullpen had been emptied. Ryan Zeferjahn faced five hitters, got one out, and allowed four runs. Brent Suter gave up three more. Nick Martinez, on the other side, threw seven innings of two-run ball on 88 pitches and walked nobody. Jonathan Aranda's 108.2 mph drive to right center was part of the wreckage. Bryan Baker walked two in the ninth and still closed it out without allowing a hit.
