Four solo home runs decided the first nine innings, and the tenth came down to a soft line drive. Cole Young's single scored Randy Arozarena and ended it — the only run of the night that was not a homer. Sean Manaea gave the Mets one hit over five innings and the one hit was a home run. A.J. Minter faced one batter, took the loss, and the run was unearned, which is a distinction the box score preserves and the standings do not.
