Keller threw 99 pitches before the fifth ended — seven hits and three walks across 4.2 innings, and what that means is he spent the night working deep into counts he could not finish. Dubón's two-run homer in the third pulled Atlanta back after Pittsburgh's three-run frame, and his double in the fifth was the swing that put the Braves ahead to stay. Pérez gave three back in that same third and then gave Atlanta nothing for two more innings, and the four relievers behind him allowed one hit the rest of the way. The Braves left nine on base and won by three anyway, which tells you how often they were on base to begin with.
