Clement's three-run homer in the third came on an 88.6 mph slider, and his triple earlier in the game was his first of the year — two firsts in one night. Kyle Bradish gave up nine hits and five earned in four innings, and three of those runners scored on Clement's swing. Pete Alonso's two-run homer in the sixth left at 107.7 mph and went 421 feet, but Spencer Miles held Toronto's lead with four and a third innings of two-run ball. Louis Varland needed eight pitches to close it.
