Jordan Walker's three-run homer in the fourth — his 17th, on a 92.5 mph fastball to center — was the swing that settled it, and David Peterson was gone before the inning ended with six earned on his line. Andre Pallante threw 93 pitches in six innings, gave up three hits, and the Mets did not score after the fourth. Nelson Velázquez hit his second of the year in the third, a two-run shot, and Alec Burleson's ninth-inning homer left the bat at 111.7 mph and traveled 408 feet. Three home runs and eleven hits for a team that put the game away early and kept swinging.
