Kurtz's home run traveled 471 feet and it was the Athletics' second run in the fifth. Colorado answered with four in the sixth — three on Cole Carrigg's second home run of the year — and took a lead that lasted one inning before Max Muncy's two-run double squared it. Lawrence Butler's eighth-inning single brought home the final run, and Hogan Harris retired the last four Colorado hitters in order for the save. Colorado made two errors. The Athletics made none.
