The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Kyle Freeland gave up 10 hits and six earned runs in 5.2 innings, and the Athletics kept coming. Zack Gelof's two-run homer in the fourth, on a 93.5 mph fastball, put Oakland ahead, and Alika Williams's RBI single in the sixth off Jaden Hill gave them the lead for good. Tyler Soderstrom doubled in Williams two batters later. The Rockies had tied it in the fifth on Brett Sullivan's sacrifice fly and TJ Rumfield's RBI double, and for two innings the game hung there. Elvis Alvarado struck out two in a clean ninth. Colorado committed one error.
