Freddie Freeman put the Dodgers ahead in the first with his 11th home run, a shot to right on a 91.8 mph fastball, and that lead held until the sixth. Emmet Sheehan had struck out eight through five. Then Antonacci homered in the sixth — his second, on an 0-2 fastball at 95.1 mph — and Benintendi doubled, and Colson Montgomery hit a two-run shot to right, and Chase Meidroth followed with another two-run homer. Jack Dreyer faced five hitters in the inning: three hits, three earned, no outs recorded. Erick Fedde got the win with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief, striking out four. Mookie Betts homered in the eighth and Alex Freeland doubled in a run in the ninth. Seranthony Domínguez walked two in the ninth but held.
