Durán stretched it with a two-run homer in the seventh, his third of the year, on a 93.9 mph fastball at 1-0, driving in Will Wagner. Trevor Rogers took the loss despite six innings of two-run ball; the defense behind him committed three errors. Baltimore collected 10 hits and scored twice. Mason Miller covered the last 1.1 innings with three strikeouts on 18 pitches, and none of the baserunners the Orioles put on in that span reached second. The Orioles outhit the Padres 10 to 8 and lost by three.
