Tobias Myers got four outs, and by the time he left, Eugenio Suárez had homered twice — a two-run shot in the first and a grand slam to center in the second, six RBI on two swings, one of them on a 94.4 mph fastball at 3-2. JJ Bleday added a three-run homer in the eighth. Chase Burns struck out seven in five innings for Cincinnati, and the Mets had six hits, left twelve men on base, and did not score.
