Kumar Rocker struck out nine over five innings and left with the game tied, and the Rangers needed every out the bullpen gave him to keep it that way. Both clubs scored in the eighth — Alejandro Osuna's sharp double to right plated one, Elias Díaz's sac fly followed, and Miami's Kyle Stowers answered with an RBI double. The Marlins never got closer. Jacob Latz threw 31 pitches to cover the last four outs, walking one and striking out two. Jake Burger hit the hardest ball of the night, a lineout at 111.4 mph that traveled 123 feet and changed nothing.
