Three players hit their first home runs of the season — Taylor Trammell's left the bat at 108.3 mph and traveled 421 feet, Luis Urías drove in two with his, and Joey Loperfido added his first as well. The game went eleven innings, and between them the two clubs left twenty-two runners on base. Loperfido also reached on catcher interference in the ninth, scoring the run that pushed the game to extras. Logan VanWey threw two innings of one-hit relief for the win. Braydon Fisher took the loss in the eleventh.
