Bryan Woo threw 106 pitches in 6.1 innings and struck out five, and when he left, Seattle had a lead the Angels never cut into. The sixth inning decided it: Randy Arozarena and Cole Young drove in one run each, and Weston Wilson's two-run single on a 96.2 mph sinker made it 4-0. José Soriano struck out nine in five innings but gave up three runs and took the loss. Both teams scored three in the seventh, which kept the margin at five, and the Angels did not score again.
