Alec Burleson doubled home a run in the first and homered for two more in the sixth, both balls to right field. Michael McGreevy worked 6.1 innings for St. Louis, five hits, one earned run, and six strikeouts. Kyle Harrison lasted four innings for Milwaukee, gave up three earned, and left trailing 3-0. José Fermín added a solo homer in the fourth on a 92.7 mph fastball. The Brewers committed an error and left seven on base, and their bullpen gave up two more runs across the final five innings.
