Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw 103 pitches in six innings and gave up six runs. The sixth was the one that broke him — McCann's three-run homer, his first of the year, on a 94.1 mph sinker, turned a 3-0 game into a 6-0 rout. Brandon Pfaadt got the win with 5.1 innings of six-hit, two-run ball. Tim Tawa drove in the first run on a grounder to third in the fourth, then doubled in the sixth before McCann came up. The Dodgers committed an error and left four on base. Nolan Arenado added a solo shot in the eighth, his 12th.
