Alvarez's tenth home run of the year, a fly ball to center in the third, was the night's only lead change. Scott followed with 5.2 innings of three-hit ball and seven strikeouts on 79 pitches, handing a lead that Baty and Alvarez stretched with solo shots in the seventh, Alvarez's second of the night. Turner's homer in the eighth was all the Phillies could muster, and Nola absorbed the loss after 97 pitches and three runs in six innings.
