Five shutout innings from Chase Burns — three hits, two walks, six strikeouts — set the tone, and Seattle did not score until the seventh. Elly De La Cruz hit his seventeenth on a 3-2 fastball at 96.6 mph, and Eugenio Suárez and Weston Wilson added solo shots. Luis Castillo went seven innings, gave up four hits, struck out three, and took the loss. Julio Rodríguez's fifteenth in the eighth and Nathaniel Lowe's twelfth in the ninth were all the Mariners could find. Emilio Pagán needed eleven pitches in the ninth.
