Christian Scott needed 89 pitches to get through 3.2 innings, and the second inning was where it came apart — Joey Ortiz's first triple of the year drove in two, and Christian Yelich followed with an RBI single to make it 3-1. Yelich added his second triple of the season in the sixth to push the lead to two, which mattered because Francisco Alvarez's RBI single in the ninth brought the Mets within one. Trevor Megill put the tying run on base with a walk and still got the save. Logan Henderson gave Milwaukee five innings of two-run ball with nine strikeouts and didn't walk anyone.
