Matt Olson came up in the tenth with two on and drove a ball to right center. Joey Bart and Jim Jarvis scored, and the three-run homer gave Atlanta a lead they would not give back. Trevor Rogers had thrown seven innings of two-run ball for Baltimore — six strikeouts, no walks, eighty-eight pitches — and left with a lead the bullpen could not keep. Andrew Kittredge took the loss without allowing an earned run, because Jarvis reached on a fielder's choice and a throwing error by Jackson Holliday set the inning in motion. Elieser Hernández threw three scoreless innings of relief to keep the game alive.
