Sasaki walked two and gave up three hits across seven innings, and the one run that got past him was Luis Robert Jr.'s second-inning homer on a 99.1 mph fastball. Sean Manaea matched him through six and left with the score 1-1. Then Brooks Raley gave up the go-ahead run in the seventh on Shohei Ohtani's sacrifice fly, and A.J. Minter surrendered Kyle Tucker's two-run shot in the eighth — a 94 mph fastball to right center. Francisco Alvarez answered with a solo homer in the bottom half at 108.9 mph off the bat. Tanner Scott worked a clean ninth, and the Dodgers left eight on base and won anyway.
